The Alexandria Museum of Art and Board of Managers are proud to present the 24th September Competition, an exhibit of works by contemporary artists from across the nation. This exhibit has graced our galleries since 1982. Standards have always been high, as local, regional, national and international artists are invited to exhibit.
We are grateful to this year's juror, Keith Perelli, artist and professor at New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. Mr. Perelli selected 50 works to exhibit from the 190 entries received.
